The Mausoleum and Columbarium is owned and operated by the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas, and we serve all members of the community.

The facility is located in Flower Mound, Texas on the 17 acre wooded campus of the Saint Nicholas Episcopal Church and the location of the former Bishop Mason Retreat and Conference Center. The facility was opened  with a formal dedication on August 5, 1972.

Flower Mound is a northern suburb of the Dallas and Fort Worth metroplex, and it is located just north of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

The Mausoleum and Columbarium  contains 1020 crypts and 643 niches and is a perpetual care facility.  Its indoor climate controlled environment offers comfortable surroundings. Our facility offers both crypts and niches for the remains of your loved ones. Crypts are also available for use as a family columbarium.

The Mausoleum is adorned with wood carvings given by memorials.  The Bavarian artist, Ludwig Kieninger, has created in wood, medallions of the four Evangelists and depictions of Christ's ministry in life.  The warmth and spirituality of these four life sized statues add much to the peace of the Mausoleum and Columbarium.

Our Mausoleum and Columbarium welcomes all faiths. Orand Chapel which is adjacent to the Mausoleum and Columbarium is available for funerals and memorial services.

The visiting hours are as follows:

• 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Saturday


• 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday


• Arrangements can be made for visits outside of normal visiting hours


• The facility is closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of the first week of the month for maintenance.
